Die Hochleistungskeramik Zirkonoxid wird
zunehmend beliebter. Ihre Bearbeitung ist
allerdings in Anbetracht der hohen Festigkeit
dieses Materials sehr aufwändig. Vielfach
übernimmt die CAD/CAM-Anlage die Haupt-
fräs- bzw. Schleifarbeit.
Für optimale Ergebnisse ist jedoch in den
meisten Fällen eine manuelle Nacharbeit not-
wendig.
Herkömmliche Werkzeuge sind hierfür nur
bedingt geeignet, da sie sehr schnell ver-
schleissen.
Mit den neuen WhiteTiger-Diamanten für die
Laborturbine steht nun eine neue Werkzeug-
generation zur Verfügung, die durch ihre Spe-
zialbeschichtung für deutlich höhere Abtrags-
leistungen und Standzeiten sorgt.
The popularity of zirconium oxide is constant-
ly on the increase. Due to its high resistance,
zirkonium oxide is not easy to work on. Alt-
hough the main cutting and grinding in the
dental laboratory is frequently taken over by
the CAD/CAM system, some manuel rewor-
king is still necessary in order to achieve opti-
mum results.
Conventional tools tend to be unsuitable for
this, given that the extreme hardness of zirco-
nium oxide reduces their service life too much
to be of use. The new WhiteTiger-Diamonds
for the laboratory turbine represent a new
generation of tools which - thanks to their
special coating - ensure the removal of a lot
more substance and a longer service life.
L´oxyde de zirconium, céramique de haute
performance, est de plus en plus apprécié.
Son traitement est toutefois de très longue
haleine compte tenu de la résistance élevée
de ce matériau. Même si la CFAO prend en
charge à plusieurs reprises le fraisage prin-
cipal ou le meulage, un travail supplémen-
taire manuel est cependant nécessaire dans
la plupart des cas pour obtenir des résultats
optimaux.
Les instruments actuels sont indiqués seu-
lement en partie pour cela, car ils s´usent
très rapidement. Avec les fraises diaman-
tées WhiteTiger pour turbine de laboratoire,
une nouvelle génération d´instruments existe
maintenant, qui assure par son recouvrement
spécial un retrait plus important de substance
et une plus grande longévité.
